Assurity Joins Rally Software's Partner Program

Assurity is delighted to announce that we have become an enablement partner for Rally Software. Rally is the leader in Agile application lifecycle management (ALM) dedicated to helping organizations embrace Agile and Lean development practices that increase the pace of innovation and improve product quality.

Assurity's Agile coaches now have the ability to employ Rally's Agile ALM platform for providing the visibility, transparency, collaboration and traceability vital for delivering successful Agile projects. Auckland Council and its Consortium Partners win Australia New Zealand SAP ERP project of the year - September 2011

We were delighted to hear that Auckland Council and the Deloitte consortium won the SAP Customer Award of Excellence for ‘Best ERP implementation’ Australia New Zealand 2010. These annual awards are hotly contested across Australia and New Zealand and nominations are judged by a panel including SAP’s President and CEO ANZ, and CXO’s from the Australasia SAP community. The consortium was led by Deloitte and included Auckland Council staff working with Deloitte, Soltius, Assurity and SAP. Assurity’s role in this significant project was leading and delivering all aspects of testing for the SAP rollout.

Winning this significant award is an outstanding achievement that we are very proud to be a part of. The successfully delivery of this project was a team achievement, involving a great deal of effort from a large group of committed people.

Test Managers Forum 2011

Assurity is delighted to be running the 4th Test Managers Forum on the 16th November 2011 in Wellington.

Assurity announces new onsite/offshore testing service – April 2011

Assurity has partnered with SQS India to deliver a unique onsite / offshore solution for its New Zealand customers. SQS is one of Europe's largest specialist test consultancies with over 1900 test consultants and has a specialist test team of over 400 testers based in Pune, India. Working together, Assurity is now able to offer a solution for its customers where Assurity in NZ provides all onsite customer facing activities and ensure that the right test solution is designed and implemented to meet the project needs. In this model, the Assurity NZ team will build the initial test assets and prove these through any project, however when the time is right we can work with SQS in India to manage on-going regression and test execution remotely with the Assurity onsite team manages communication and ensures risks and issues are identified and managed accordingly. This approach brings together two specialist test consultancies to deliver a unique solution which allows us to not only lower the cost of testing for our customers, however with the time zone allows us to extend the available testing time as well as test coverage. According to Frank Ridder, Research Director for Gartner:

'In global projects the efficient integration of on-site and offshore resources is very important. We see a trend away from large-scale mega deals and more towards the multi-sourcing solutions offered by specialised service providers.'
